Natalie Marrone has spent the last decade
teaching dance in University programs including
such prestigious programs as The Ohio State
University, Ohio Wesleyan University, Western
Michigan University, Emory University, Oberlin
College, Bowling Green State University,
California State University, and University of
North Carolina. She received a Master in Fine
Arts degree from The Ohio State University in
dance in 1998 and simultaneously founded her own
dance company, The Dance Cure that year. She has
had the benefit of teaching in B.A. and B.F.A.
programs, large public universities and small
private colleges. She has also written program
curricula, served on audition committees, and
served on university wide administration
committees, giving her an inside perspective on
administrative effects on a dance program and
its faculty. Ms. Marrone is also a graduate of
Columbus' prestigious Academy for Leadership and
Governance/next generation of arts leaders
program under the direction of Donn Vickers. Marrone's choreography and research has been
conducted all over the world, including the USA,
Europe, and Asia.
